We are excited to welcome Winemaker Francois Cordesse to our family. He is a formally trained master winemaker with almost 30 years of experience working hands-on in France, Australia, and California. He holds a master's degree in Enology and Viticulture from the University of Montpellier, France, and an additional Master of International Wine Trade and Business, from the Burgundy Business School (also in France).
During his education, he was a harvest intern in the Narbonne and Bordeaux regions of France and the Yarra Valley of Australia. Upon graduation, he began working as a winemaker for Domaine Saint Hilaire in Beziers, France, and won multiple medals for his wine. In 1996, he was recruited by a California winery in the Sierra Nevada foothills. He has stayed in California and has been a lead winemaker in Ione, Santa Rosa, and the Sonoma County regions.
For the past 13 years, he’s been the winemaker for a premium winery in Sonoma that has distribution and notoriety. Welcome, Francois!
