About the event
His father is a jazz pianist, and his grandmother is a Living National Treasure who plays the shamisen, a traditional Japanese instrument. He started playing guitar and bass at 10 and aspired to become a jazz musician at 16. He is inspired by many bassists, such as Ron Carter, Paul Chambers, and Jaco Pastorius.
