About the event
MC3 celebrates The American Song Book, from Jazz standards to Broadway, including bossa, blues, swing and contemporary songs set to Jazzy grooves.
MC3’s core members are Mary Crescenzo (vocals), Paul Mesches (guitar), and Roch Bordenave (valve trombone).
Roch Bordenave is a Los Angeles native who’s traveled all over the world as a sideman, having toured with Mel Tormé's Jazz Orchestra, Eddie Kendricks & David Ruffin, Martha Reeves, Three Dog Night, Mary Wells and many more. Currently Roch is also a member of The Steely Dan Tribute Band, Doctor Wu, and Malibu Horns.
Mary, a native New Yorker, has sung in Los Angeles at Urban Press Winery, at the annual Marion Davies Annenberg Beach House celebration in Santa Monica, with The LA Love Band, the Dave Leech Trio at Pip’s on La Brea, with the Del Rey Jazz Band, The Top Hat Big Band, and at various private…
