Live Music

Urban Press is not just about fine wines; it’s a gathering of community. Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening, our tasting room transforms into The Brick Room; a vibrant live music venue, showcasing a dynamic mix of blues, soul, rock, funk, and jazz performed by talented musicians. For those who relish a leisurely Sunday, our jazz brunch offers a melodious start to your day, complete with great food and soul-soothing tunes. It's a rhythmic feast for the senses!

For just $39, explore over 24 exquisite brunch items, and elevate your experience with unlimited fresh-squeezed orange juice and espresso for an additional $10, or endless sparkling wine or rosé for $25. About Our Wines

​At Urban Press Winery, we take pride in offering an exquisite collection of wines, carefully curated to cater to the tastes of every wine enthusiast. Our selection showcases the best of California’s vineyards, with a diverse range of wines from sparkling to robust reds, delicate whites, and enchanting rosés. Urban Press specializes in White Rhones, a versatile and popular wine originally farmed in France. Additionally, our wines are not overly oaked and do not have residual sugar. Each bottle tells a story of tradition, passion, and the art of winemaking.

With patience, care, and precision in the forefront of producing the wines, and preferring to keep them longer in their barrels, Urban Press releases limited vintages.

Our Winemaker

Winemaker Francois Cordesse is a formally trained master winemaker with

almost 30 years of experience working hands-on in France, Australia, and

California. He holds a master’s degree in Enology and Viticulture from the

University of Montpellier, France, and an additional Master of International

Wine Trade and Business from the Burgundy Business School, also in

France. In 1996 he was recruited by a California winery in the

Sierra Nevada foothills. He has stayed in California and has been a lead

winemaker in Ione, Santa Rosa and the Sonoma County regions.

Our Chef

Chef Edgar DelaRosa, a Los Angeles native, has cultivated his culinary expertise in the realms of Italian and French cuisine. His journey began under the tutelage of esteemed chefs such as Celestino Drago, Josiah Citrin, and Tony Esnault, where he honed his skills in Michelin-starred kitchens. With a passion for precision and creativity, Chef Edgar brings a unique flair to every dish he crafts, combining traditional techniques with innovative flavors. His dedication to culinary excellence has earned him recognition and respect within the gastronomic community.

Our Owner

Owner and first-generation winemaker Giovanni D’Andrea started making

wine over thirty years ago. Passionate about wine and winemaking, in

1994 he began crafting wine out of his garage in Los Feliz. His winemaking

journey has continued to evolve, starting with a modest vineyard; his vision

was to produce a limited amount of ultra-premium wines. He subsequently

expanded, moving his winemaking to the world-renowned wine region of

Sonoma county. Leading him to open Urban Press Winery in 2016 that

became acclaimed for its selection of crafted wines.
